How To Download and Install Android Oreo





The last version of Android 8.0 Oreo arrived on the scene at the same time as the total solar eclipse in New York on August 21, 2017. With such a dramatic portal, we are sure that it is exciting to have in his hands the latest version of Android. Here is how to download and install Android Oreo.

How to install Android

You can get the latest system images free from https://developers.google.com/android/images , then run (install them) on your phone. The following section contains instructions from Google on how to display the system image. For specific device information.

Step 1: To flash a system image:
1. Download the suitable system image for your phone, and then unzip it to a safe directory.
2. Attach your phone to your PC across USB.

3. Start the phone in fast boot mode with one of the following ways:
  •  Use the adb tool: With the phone powered on, perform: adb reboot bootloader
  •  Doing a key combo: Turn the device off, then turn it on and instantly hold down the appropriate key combination for your phone.
4. If required, unlock the phone's boot loader using one of the next methods:
  • If you are upgrading your Nexus 5X or Nexus 6P with the Hammer or Hunter software, update the fast boot tool to the latest available version (> = 23.0.1), and then run this command:
         fastboot flashing unlock
  •  If you are upgrading an old device, run this command: 
         fastboot oem unlock

The target phone will display a confirmation screen. (This erases all data from the target mobile.)
5. Open a caller and scroll to the uncompressed system picture directory.
6. Run the entire flash script. This script installs the boot loader, the necessary firmware band (s), and the operating system.
After the script is finished, the device restarts. Now you must secure the boot loader:
Restart the mobile in the Quick Start mode, as explained above.

Step 2: Implementation:

fastboot flashing lock
Alternatively, for older devices, they executed:

fastboot oem lock


The boot loader will lock data on some devices. After the boot loader is locked, if you require to restart the device, you must run the fast boot ohm open again, which will erase the data.
