Access your computer's files from your Android:


Most of you might be a lot of trouble in transferring files between your PC and your android. This will be quite a lot of work if you are going to use large size files in your android. This would be quite easy if you can access your computer files from your android phone. Yes, you can do it and we will be guiding on this post on how to do it.

  1. First you need to share your files (i.e to give rights so that you can access it from your android) on your computer. It is enough to do it only once.
  2. To do it, locate the folder you want to share.
  3. Right click on the folder and select Properties.

  4. Click on Sharing tab and click the share button.
  5. Now add Everyone option from the drop down menu and click on Done button.
  6. Now open the ESExplorer app on your android. If you don't have one download it from here.
  7. Now click on menu and choose LAN
  8. The app will search and show your computer name.
  9. Click on your computer name and enter your windows password.
  10. That's it. Now your can access your files and folders in your android smartphone.

Note: If you don't want to enter password then you could "Turn off your password protected sharing" in your "Advanced Sharing settings" in your control panel.
